Maison Medina is a boutique guesthouse at 21, Triq tal-Mużew, Rabat, Malta. This policy explains what we collect when you book on book.maisonmedina.com and how we use it. Maison Medina is responsible for your personal information.
What we collect
- Details you give us when you book: your name, email, phone number, guest numbers, dates and any requests.
- Payment details, which are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us.
- Basic technical information, such as browser type and pages visited, to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
We use your information to take and manage your booking, prepare for your stay, take payment, reply to you, and meet our legal and tax obligations in Malta. We do not sell personal information. We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them.
Who handles it for us
Bookings are managed through Hostaway, and payments are processed by Stripe. They act on our behalf, and their own privacy policies also apply. We share booking details with others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to look after your stay and as Maltese tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete them.
Cookies
This site uses cookies needed to run the booking process and remember your choices. Any optional cookies run only if you accept them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to transfer it. We reply within one month, free of charge. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
Children
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site. Bookings must be made by an adult.
