Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to bookings made on book.maisonmedina.com for stays at Maison Medina, 21, Triq tal-Mużew, Rabat, Malta. By completing a booking, you agree to them.

Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. The person making the booking must be at least 18 and is responsible for everyone in their party.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT. Any other fees are shown before you pay. Payment for your booking is taken securely through our payment provider at the time shown during checkout. A valid credit or debit card is required to guarantee your booking.

Malta’s eco-contribution, a government tourist tax charged per guest per night, is not included in the booking price. It is collected separately when you check in. The rate is set by the Maltese Government and may be revised each year, so the amount due is the rate in force on the dates of your stay.

Cancellations and changes

Each booking follows the cancellation policy shown at checkout, before you pay. That policy sets whether you can cancel free of charge, until when, and what is charged after that or for a no-show. It is also included in your confirmation email. To change dates or guest numbers, contact us. Changes depend on availability and may change the price.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability, and late check-out may cost extra. We may ask for photo ID for each guest on arrival, as Maltese law requires.

Room occupancy

Maximum guests per room: La Loggia 3 · La Duna 4 · Melite 3 · Agatha 2.

Guests beyond the number booked are not allowed without our agreement and may be charged or refused.

During your stay

Please respect the house, our team and other guests. You may be charged for damage beyond normal wear and tear. If behaviour seriously disturbs other guests or damages the property, we may end the stay without a refund.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for providing your stay as described. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our control, or for valuables left unattended in rooms. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Maltese law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones in place when you booked.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
